SPORTING CLAYS: Shooting and competition in sporting clays has increased dramatically over the past fifteen years. It was originally created to improve the instinctive shooting of hunters. The opportunity for our hunters to loosen up before the hunt, has proven to be a huge benefit. Sporting clays challenges the best of wing shooters.

Only a hand full of competitive sporting clays shooters have ever broken 100 of 100, and there has never been a 200 of 200 score in registered events. Hunters who break half of their sporting clay targets are really good shots.

The spectacular hillside site of our 12 station course has a variety of magnificent views overlooking Eagle Lakes and the Columbia Basin. It's required and received the very best in layout and design asnd the finest state-of-the-art equipment. We think our course will become the Pebble Beach of sporting clays.

SKEET, TRAP and FIVE STAND SHOOTING: Our new facility is located less than 100 yards from the lodge. It Features the same state-of-the-art equipment as our Sporting Clays Course and the same magnificent views.

Shooters provide their own shells, or shells are available for purchase. Champion Shooter Marv Underwood, of Sunnyside, Washington is EAGLE LAKES RANCH'S course designer of both the Sporting Clays and the Trap & Skeet facilities. Marv has accumulated over 300 Tournament wins during his twenty-eight years of competitive shooting. He is available upon request for personal or group shooting instruction.
