In Loving Memory of Rory Patrick Farrell…

Rory Farrell, 20 years old, passed away July 17th, 2007 as a result of an automobile accident. Rory guided deer and goose hunts for us over the last two seasons, doing an incredible job! He had a passion for the outdoors like no other. We had the pleasure of knowing Rory for many years, Rory's father Pat had brought him hunting ever since he was old enough to carry a gun. We were blessed to see him grow up to be a fine young man. My guides took great pride in the fact that he wanted to be on the Eagle Lakes Team. Rory will be missed dearly. In his memory I am establishing 5 Youth Waterfowl Camp Scholarships for the 2008 Camp, dates to be announced. In addition to this we are having a Rory Farrell week, where all kids 15 years and younger can hunt for free during the week between Christmas & New Years when accompanied by a paying adult (Package hunts only). Anyone wishing to sponsor a child for the Youth Waterfowl Camp please get with the office for details.
Enclosed is your 2007-08 Eagle Lakes hunting calendar. The dates are almost identical to last year. We ended up with a 105 day season again, with a two day closure - Oct. 18th & 19th. All bag limits & restrictions remain unchanged 7-ducks, 2-hen mallards, and 1-pintail. Our season is still one of the longest and best in the country. Opening day will be Saturday, Oct. 13th and run thru Sunday January 27th.

For Your Information:
The dates for goose hunting are also identical, with a 1 day closure Oct. 17th. Goose hunting is on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and holiday cycles only. Note all the multiple day cycles you can shoot geese. October 13th-15th, November 21st-25th, December 22nd - January 1st, and everyday January 19th-27th. There is still a 4 goose limit. We will be closed for all hunting/lodging December 24th-26th for Christmas and January 26th-27th the last two days of the season for guides and family fun. It should be another great season filled with lasting memories.
Please pick out your dates as soon as possible. There are several cycles that already have been completely booked. Remember a 50% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking. Cancellations of your trip must be made 60 days prior to your arrival. If you do not cancel within 60 days or no-show your credit card will be charged 100%. The only exception is death or family emergency. In this event, we will do everything possible to reschedule your trip with mutually acceptable dates. We will send you a confirmation at time of booking.

New Chef:
We are pleased to announce that Chef Amadeus has joined our staff. He brings some incredible credentials with him. He has cooked all over the country for many important individuals. The last couple of years he has focused his attention on private in home parties & large events. We feel very fortunate to have him and his new exciting recipes at the Lodge!
Dinner will be served from 5:30pm - 8:30pm. Any special requests or late arrivals need to be coordinated through the front desk in advance.

New Payment Terms:
Please pay all outstanding hunting balances upon arrival. Having guests try to settle up their charges when we are trying to get out the door to our hunt has proved to be most difficult. You can either settle up all misc. charges, tips, bar tabs, merchandise or any change in hunting packages after your hunt on the final day or we will send you a statement.

Guided Hunt - Lodge Package Rates:
Package rates include: Lodge accommodations (double occupancy), Guide, Meals, Taxes & Bird Cleaning. Prices do not include guide or staff gratuities, alcoholic beverages, licenses or stamps.
Duck: $400 per person/per day
Goose: $450 per person/per day
Combo Duck/Goose: $675 per person/per day
Upland: $400 per person/per day
Dove: $325 per person/per day
Fishing: $375 per person/per day
Combo Dove/Fishing: $525 per person/per day
(Youth 15 & under subtract $50 from total)
2-Day Deer Hunt: $2,500 (Oct.-3pt. or better)
